MapServerMapServer is an Open Source development environment for building spatially-enabled internet applications. MapServer is not a full-featured GIS system, nor does it aspire to be. Instead, MapServer excels at rendering spatial data (maps, images, and vector data) for the web. MapServer was originally developed by the University of Minnesota (UMN).

Geologic Map Index of.....Starting in the 1970's, USGS produced "Geologic Map Indexes" for each state. These indexes are comprehensive--they show maps produced by a variety of organizations and authors. Copies of these indexes can be found in our Map Room Annex. Although this bibliography lists papers as well as maps from a wide array of sources, the OSU Geology Library may not have everything mentioned. The map indexes refer you to the bibliography section.
