Objectives of the Grants
$2000 will be given to instructors to enhance a course by substantially integrating library resources, services, and information literacy instruction for students. Instructors may choose to receive the money in their paychecks (taxable) or in a university research account.
- To foster collaboration between instructors and librarians in developing syllabi using the full range of resources available and incorporating information literacy instruction.
- To encourage instructors to incorporate the Libraries resources (e.g. electronic journals, e-books, digital video, databases, etc.) into existing courses.
- To increase instructor and student awareness of a variety of library services such as electronic reserves, digitizing print content, copyright and rights management, reference, instruction, and document delivery.
