The Wellcome Trust Medical Photographic Library contains a database of Japanese medical images:

Clicking on "Images" brings you to the "Medical Photographic Library."

A search for the word "Japanese" gives hundreds of results.


The image database allows you to search for historical/ contemporary Japanese illustrations. All images are copyright protected online, but reproductions can be ordered for a small fee for personal/academic research.

日本語能力試験

With regard to the 日本語能力試験 there are many resources for teaching and self-study. One of the first things you can do is check the resources in your library. For example, a search in the OSU catalogue (OSCAR) for keyword "nihongo noryoku," Oct. 2006 produced the following list: search: "nihongo noryoku"
